Got a ticket in the FD.
Got a ticket in the FD.
So tonight,
I was driving the FD, and long story short I got a ticket for a Mod'd Exhaust. He made it correctable. So does this mean I can just pay the fee or w/e, and not have to change it? Or does it for sure have to get changed/signed off? Thanks for the help guys.

exhaust ticket hasn't been correctable in CA for years. that cop probably didn't know. but once u go to court, they'll have u pay $140+ w/out checking your car.
and if he wrote u up for "emmissions modified", be ready to pay a $400+ ticket

Yes, He gave me a "27151VC Modified Exhaust" is what the ticket says. He told me that it was correctable and checked the box that says "correctable". I got let off easy, he said I was doing about 85 in a 45.
P.S. I would change it, and just get it signed off, but having another exhaust made might be more then just paying for it, and not doing anything to the FD lol.

Yep, it helps you not get tickets. But after getting pwn'd for doing 85, I got lucky for only getting a exhaust ticket.
In regards to gotboost920's question about the license plate frame.
KMA-367 was the official Federal Communications Commission (FCC) callsign for Los Angeles Police Department radio transmitters from 1948 through the 1980s. Those driving around with these license plate holders are associated with the LAPD. Less frequently seen, license holders displaying KMA-628 are associated with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Sorry to burst your bubble, it is not all that stylish.
Its not VIP or LUX, nor is it Bosozoku. It is just somewhere in between, and does not fit in either category.
None of the BN Sports, 326 Power, Super-Made, or Burnout cars have such kind of exhaust. It is not as big as the bozo exhausts either....

The word stylish, to me, implies that it is trying to follow some kind of style, w/e it may be.

basically it is ok if you are below 95db. He's trying to trick you. There was a SB that was passed to make it even more clear that this is the case, but I cannot find it and I'll bet they don't want you to know about it.
how wide and what offset are you running on those wheels?
