Good rotary mechanics in san diego area? preferrably east county.

I'm an RX-7 newb (had my car for 2 months), and "my" mechanic doesn't work on rotaries.

So, where is a good place to get engine work done on an FC? I searched, but the only recent info I found recommended Pure Sports in ramona....

I found a place down town that will work on it, but I really don't want them to touch my car. i.e. the owner told me that "rotaries are really hard, ya know, their real simple but they aren't common. I guess we could work on it if you needed it, though"

Give them a call, talk to Dave.

They're doing turn key motors now... pretty badass if you have a deep pocket.

Yeah, I have been salivating over speedmachine's site. They are in vista, though, and I am in lemon grove. I guess I just was hoping for someplace closer.

DT: nothing, right now. At least nothing rotary specific (just and exhaust leak and torn shifter boot). My FC only has 5K on the engine, so I am not too concerned about it. But it IS and RX-7, so I need to have a contingency plan
