fundraiser car wash for a friend who passed away
hi guys, on dec 30th a friend of mine and her mother were killed in a car accident when they were hit by someone in a stolen car. i cant even imagine what how hard that must be for her brother and the rest of her family. so some friends are holding a fundraising carwash at Ricks Burger in Alhambra to try and raise some money for her family to help out with funeral costs and whatnot. id really appreciate if anyone could make it out and show some support. it would be really awesome if we could get a couple 7s out there maybe arrange a mini meet or something or grab some lunch. sorry for the late notice ive been really busy, but id love to see some of u guys show up
heres the addy..

oh and btw theres no real cost, theyre just taking donations so any amount you can afford to donate would be greatly appreciated. lets show everyone that we are not only a community of rotorheads but also a bunch of caring people also.
thanks..

Yeah, it's sad news, I remember graduating with her back in 05. Um, the carwash is starting now?
I'm gonna go there after I pick up my rims.

I would have definitely made it out there if I wasn't working today. I'm sorry to hear about the car accident, and it sucks because it's more pointless deaths due to idiot people in CA. I hope the carwash goes well,

Oh don't mention it. It was good meeting you and your friends. You all are a great group of people. I lost quite few people in 2006 so I could somewhat relate to your friends' situation. Anything I could do to help. Best wishes to you all.
For those who can't make it, Strider is there an address where they could send a donation to?

A police pursuit that ended in a car crash last week has claimed a second victim, 19-year-old Jennifer Ho, who died in a hospital Saturday from her injuries.
The crash occurred Thursday when a man fleeing from police in a stolen pickup truck struck the Volkswagen that Ho was driving, killing her mother, 48-year-old Chau Ho of Rosemead.
The collision occurred near Peck Road and Durfee Avenue, said Lt. Santos Hernandez of the El Monte Police Department.
The man, identified as 25-year-old Carlos Dena, fled on foot and hid in murky water in the San Gabriel River before being arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run, grand theft auto and vehicular manslaughter.

I have no idea, I may have met her before, but my memory stinks. She said it's her first 7, and she's not on this forum...... yet. lol.
But seriously.... the driver of the stolen vehicle should be ******* tortured.
