You are at least 30 minutes away from anything fun. Being surrounded by a concrete jungle and cops on every corner, you will need to drive a long way to find some good twisties. You may find a corner or two, maybe even a full mile of road with no stop signs. But for a true canyon carving time, you will need to escape.

Now . . . PCH can be tons of fun if you are looking for a cruise. But if you want to go faster than 40mph, and maybe even take some turns. . . .. you may have to go as far as San Diego county.

And FYI - Before anyone tries to recommend it, I want you to know that (74)Ortega Hwy SUCKS!!!!!!!But there are a ton of great roads when you reach the other side.

I would but I'm lazy. Try just using the street view on mapquest and finding some nice mountain roads. I found a nice non aggressive one that way in SD

dog if you really want to lets your 7 rip go to santiago canyon it in orange that my spot i go there every friday night with my fc and my friends MR2, look it up on google maps and youll this just keep on driveing for about 7 mins and your going to pass a lot of creepy texas chainsaw masacer houses and make a left when you see the country bar on your left and your going to ride the best straight aways with S roads and awsome up hill and down hill hair pins you wont regret and as for the nigggas on top you know who you are that my Togue ... but if you really hit the down hill with a **** load of hairpins try Asuza Mountain. it hard but fun

Santiago canyon is the best i can think of.

Toll roads are fun if you like top speed. Be ready to deal with police occasionally though.

Willow Springs HTM has canyon-like turns. Check it out. there you will for sure walk away from any "incidences"

*smacks head*

Santiago Canyon is cool, but there are a lot of kids doing stupid **** up there late at night. During the day there are a lot of bikers, and because everyone always calls it out, I've noticed a bigger police presence.

Exactly my point Ricky. Take your damned RX-7 to the track-where it wants to be. There you can unleash the full potential of both you and your car.

Honestly man, the only thing keeping me from the tracks are the drive to them and the fees. They aren't incredibly expensive, but they are enough to put a dent in the wallet.
