FS Rebuilt S5 turbo and manifold
FS Rebuilt S5 turbo and manifold
For sale is a rebuilt S5 turbo and manifold. Turbo has about 30k miles on it and almost no shaft play, very very little but I didnt want to say none. Missing one stud (I was desperate for one but it can be bought at autozone I'm told or at the dealer). Extreme ported wastegate (done myself). Still pulled super strong when on the car. Manifold has a small crack near the exhaust port. Asking $250 picked up or plus shipping. Prefer to sell locally. I'm selling because I just installed my hybrid. Pictures upon request.
I am the friend.. and I am interested.. Where do you live? I live in SJ, also I am going to Jamaica tomorrow morning.. YA MON.. but ya maybe my friend could pick it up for me or if i could pick it up on the 2nd that would be cool. zackeriazoul@yahoo.com

I'll let the pictures speak for themselves but the cracks are not that bad in my opinion. They're actually pretty common on most of the stock turbo manifolds I've seen. I guess you could fix them by welding up the cracks and then grinding them down. I might be able to try and fix them if I can use my buddys welding machine.

eric.
Still have it? I am looking for one, but would like the manifold to be in good shape. If you could help me locate someone who can fix it (weld) I would be interested. Also, what's the lowest you will go, I don't have much money, sorry.
$250 picked up is already a pretty fair deal in my opinion. Everyone else sells high mileage s5 turbos and manifolds for around $250 shipped. I'll see if I can get the manifold welded and then I'll spend time grind it down. I'll try and get it fixed but $225 is the lowest I'll go. Any lower and I'll just keep it myself. I've driven it with no problems. It's pretty hard to find one uncracked since it's fairly common that they have a tendency to crack.
