yeah me too ricky, when i got my car smogged a month ago the smog guy was giving me **** b/c of my smog hose not being attached, i told him to give me 20minutes went home and put my stock intake back on went back and he was "impressed" so he gave me a discount.

ummm if ur coming from the 405... u could take it to the 5 north, then take the 22 west bound... exit off of beach, and u'll end up going north on beach... i think it was a right... then its on the left hand site... wont miss it! rice central!!! including my car of course!!! lol

I know a good alternator shop near talbert and gothard in huntington beach. Go down gothard and look for a minor street that goes to a bunch of small car shops. I think it's north of talbert and you turn east. Or if you do a forum search with my name I may have posted the address. That's where I got my alternator and so far so good. Mine was $100 including $20 core charge but he said he gave me a deal because of the mechanic who sent me. No guarantees that he has another FC alt, but he found mine pretty quick even though he thought he might not have it. Unfortunately due to some major hassles with Kragen alternators he didn't get my core (which would have meant 1 more FC alt in stock). I mean, I could have asked for it and gotten $40 less on my refund (i.e., I'd lose $20 after giving the core a better home), but I didn't want to rock the boat when I was finally getting out of that mess.

 

a_drifts want the alternator for $30 or less... hopefully he got one already but meet in a few days. i wonder what ricky has up his sleeves?? i remember pulled fenders ...
