FD suspension tuner in S. Cali????
Anyone know a really good and reputably experience shop in S. Cali that can fine-tune coilover suspension and/or toe links, etc..etc..? I know that lots of evos and eclipse drivers go to Road Race... I think XS Engineering only does engine tuning..??? I'm not 100 positive but i don't think RB or Mazdatrix does suspension. do they? or is there any other places? anyone?

I've heard good things about RRE from the DSM community. As far as engine tuning with XS, i'd search around on them. Some people have had good results, others have horrible experiences. Can't remember who, but I remember reading on the boards that someone went to XS several times till they finally got their engine tuned correctly.

I would suggest visiting and talking to guys over at Ground Control. Also I thought fine tuning a suspension is different from tuning an engine and should be done to your driving style/preference?

Tri-Point gets the job done and more. Tri-Point does excellent motor work and electronics. They've been my shop of choice going on 11 years. They have Championships under their belts. Can't go wrong!

the only problem with tri point is since they are a race team they seem to only know certain brands like AEM. I asked him if he could tune a SAFC and he had no clue what I was talkin about ,but you know there your going to get quality work done.

If I had the money, I'd definitely take it to Tripoint to have my suspension sorted.

That's because SAFC's are a very half-assed solution. I would lose respect for anyone who recommended an SAFC for any high-strung engine, especially the rotary which can't stand detonation.
Back to suspension setups, springs and shocks are pretty universal. The same concepts apply (damping rates, ride height, etc..), no matter which brand of car. If you find someone who's good at tuning racecar suspension, they should be able to get your car dialed-in pretty well.
