FD Engine Pull Mentor in OC Area

FD Engine Pull Mentor in OC Area
So, the other day I was taking off my upper intercooler piping to replace a wobbly idler pulley when I found a ton of oil in the intercooler pipes (explains where it has all been going)... As I suspected bad turbo oil seals, I began taking off the UIM and LIM to remove the turbos, I want to do 99's anyway, when I figured that after my most recent compression test, 63-65psi on each face, I might as well just pull and rebuild the engine. This would give me more room to work on the turbos and make it easier for me to be **** and clean everything anyway. Plus I'd have a new motor!
Anyway, I have only had the car for a few months and even after doing tons of research and work on almost every other part of the car, I still feel unprepared to take on this specific task with my current knowledge. It would be priceless to have a seasoned pro cruise by and walk me through the steps and give those tips and tricks that only come with practice and having done it a few times. I already have a pretty good start and, from my estimation, only a couple hours left. Beer/lunch/whatever would be the least I could do for the help that would be much appreciated.
Thank in advance for your replies!

That tutorial is pretty good but it's only helpful if you're pulling the engine with the transmission attached. About half the people I've talked to pull the engine with trans and the other just pull the engine alone.
If you're leaving the transmission in the car, take a look at these two videos on releasing the release bearing (throwout bearing):
This is the best video on this subject: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPCi4...eature=related
this one isnt too bad either: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=klAv9Bw-jvA
Actually, you'll need to know how to do this either way as you need to separate the transmission from the engine anyways. Use a nice long screwdriver (not a flimsy one) to separate the release bearing from the pressure plate. It's also helpful to unbolt the clutch slave cylinder so you can move the clutch fork to help separate the release bearing.
The FSM also explains this and shouldnt take you more than a minute or two to release the bearing. If you absolutely cant get it off to save your life, remove the bolts that hold the pressure plate to the flywheel one by one through the inspection cover on the transmission. Everything else is pretty straight forward.
