I guess I could come to you, but I'm really sick of driving around SoCal lately, the roads are just getting too crowded.
If anyone is seriously interested in paying me to do electrical work on their 3rd Gen, PM me. $30/hour seems reasonable, and I'll round up on the hours. (15 min job would cost $30 ).

well, i think there's a lot of electrical issues with this car. The previous owner had a Playstation 2 installed in the glove box, (and i can't get my glove box to work properly now ) and then he had some crazy *** amp on the rear bins and all these crazy stereo devices that were pretty much installed at disney land. Now the car is hesitating like a bitch on WOT (or stumbling) and no one can figure it out. Switched out the primary injectors too, fuel filter, nothing. At first, it seems to be the maps were off. Nope. Then did all the other things... nope. Now people are saying it's an electrical prob. Got my stereo installed at al & ed's in la verne (don't go btw) and they said that the wiring job before was horrible, and that there are so many things "weird" with the electrical. SO, what i know the electrical stuff is causing some things to happen, i just dont' know what. Anyway, there are a MILLION grounds under my hood, but it's just the wiring is like a bird's nest. If only i knew my FD's better, and knew about the electrical system, the BEST way is probably to re-do the electrical wiring of the car to ENSURE that every thing electrical is working properly.
Wish some one can take me under their wing, as i will gladly spend the time to re-do my car's wiring, but people don't have the time to teach . So if anyone here is an expert at the electrical system of the FD, please hit me up.
Oh by the way, what's wrong now is that when i open the driver door, my dome light doesn't come on. (passenger works though). Also, when i unlock/lock my door from the outside, the passenger door doesn't lock. ALSO, my brake/seatbelt/ other indicators does not seem to light on properly. Antenna's going up EVERY single time when i turn on my car too...
o yeah and if anyone is GOOD with interior of the FD, please hit me up. I need the RATTLING/SQUEAKING to STOP! LOL.... I guess this is the 3rd Gen life...

The stumbling could be caused by a few different things, including but not limited to :
fouled/old spark plugs
old plug wires
ignition coils / ignitor
misaligned Throttle Position Sensor
faulty/broken Throttle Positon Sensor
bad ground(s)
inconsistent voltage to sensors, especially if using the stock ECU
... and the old, brittle wires in your engine bay can just 'break' if you bend or move them too much while doing other mechanical work.
Your dome light problem should be easy, it sounds like bad wiring to me. Was it always like that? Or did it happen after the stereo shop looked at your car?

TPS sensor was JUST replaced... and realigned. and checked... lol now i have an extra TPS sensor that works perfectly fine. I have a PFC + commander also (not the stock ECU)

1.) Who tuned the PFC, and what does the commander say about the sensor readings?
2.) Can you describe the hesitation? Is it quick and jerky? Is it a smooth surge in power? Does it only happen at certain RPM's? Is it only on the transition from acceleration to braking, or from braking to acceleration?

when it feels like when i try to give it a lot of throttle (even when rev matching) it kind sumbles for like a second before the revs go up. But if i slowly throttle the car, it goes smoothly. Also, Steve Kan tuned the PFC.

How long has the car acted like this? Was it before Steve Kan tuned it, or did it start after you took the car to Al & Ed's?
Are the motor mounts stock? How old are they?

a couple of techs who looked at the system says that the engine has A LOT of vibration. So maybe the motormounts are old. I don't know how old the wire plugs are, but i think it's pretty damn old. Damn i wish i knew all this crap!

A new set of wires is less than $30, I think I got mine from Malloy Mazda. They're very knowledgeable about our cars, and have quick shipping. (888) 533-3400
Motor mounts is a job I haven't done on my Mazda yet, but I hear it's pretty tough. The ones on my Subaru could be removed, from below, without taking the engine out, but it was a pretty long job. I'm not sure if that can be done with the 3rd Gen , or if you need to do it from above.
