Just a spinoff from the ipod thread...I felt like posting a poll about it. Vote "yes" if you think apple and all its products sucks *****, vote "no" if you love your mac.

Ehh... My friend bought a macbook and another bought a macbook pro for college. They're pretty good in terms of what i can see. It really depends on what you want to do. They're both goin into video editing so the mac's are superior at that so yea. I guess I wouldn't mind having one. But I would rather buy a XPS myself.

 

ohayou has a good point. For video editing or hardcore graphics work Macs are hard to beat. For the everyday user, a PC is probably a better fit though.

 

Mac or PC. Its like you're better-half or wife.

Better-half = you are entitled to 50% of your check.

Wife = you get an allowance so in summary, you get nothing.

i agree 100% with you, that is why i have a mac, for graphics and editing. at home i use a pc for surfing and posting on here.

Don't you think the poll is a little biased?

I'm actually a sysadmin that takes care of a lot of different servers, Windows included. Previously I built all my computers and ran various operating systems on them. I switched to OS X and I don't see any reason to go back.

 

this thread is gay. the only apple product that was crap was when apple and hp went into business together to put out the hp ipod. the product was so horrible hp and apple do not do business together anymore. hp tarnished the ipod.

And OS/X is Fee BSD + Skin.... = Linux Kernel recompiled for mac....

 

and you can run windows apps on Macs...
