Do You Play Gran Turismo 4???? A lot????

If so, me and a fellow partner would like to host a tournament/memory card battle.

Are you ready for tracks like " Trial Mountain"???

Can you mash like a superb pro at the " Nurburgring Nordschlieffe"????

Come test your x and square button skills with me " Apex Supreme Ed" and keep your fingers crossed against " Pit Maneuver LAPD five-o Filth Asim"....he'll get you!

PM for details if u want....it goes down whenever during the week. Bring your controllers and trash talk is fully welcome.

Look forward to battle as always.

- Ed

Dude Ed, i havent played that game in years (literally) but i used to be all over it. I still got my memo cards though. I prefer...crap i forgot the name of the track. Shady mountain?....DEEP FOREST! thats it.

Deep Forest is my track of preference. Its a nice short track with lots of turns and a killer final turn.

Man, you gotta come out of retirement bro and get back on it. Gran Tureezy is the ish man, especially part 2...I think that was the first time polyphony introduced accurate sound effects on a ported rotary engine.

Anyhow, whenever you come through with your memory card and hang with me and my boy....we gotta race or something. Ha ha, you said " shady mountain"..that's funny dude.

Yeah DEEP FORREST is dope....I like " EL CAPITAN"...I think both tracks are a little similar if im not mistaken. Overall though...NURBURGRING in germany will always be my all time fav, all the elevation changes and major turns....and man, that last straight away is a true top speed tester lol...

Now i remember why i stopped playing. i had left my game disk (infomation side up) out for a really long time. and i couldnt ever get it to work again.

Actually now i know a trick that might save it. toothpaste. But alas, i dont have a PS2 any more....

But i still got my controllers and memo cards. I'll have to look into getting another Ps2 on the cheap some time.

Lol....man if we had trophies...this would be major, kinda like an anuual event or something titled " King of Gran Tureezy 08"..winner gets an official shirt and umm a case of Red Stripe...

But for real though...come through, bring those skills doggy. If enough heads are down maybe we can set an official date. That would be dope. What's your go to car of choice????

Nice...im down for for a $10 pot no prob. We play in a back house at my boys crib....not the biggest space but still cool for some GT4 battles. There's 3 of us so far that actually play religiously so 3 maybe 4 more would be all we need for a full get down...

But man...**** talkin rights would be perfect. Think about it some more so we can execute a date...once a month sounds good, would like to generate some more interest and see how we can do this....

Coo coo...just come down. Were in Burbank off the 5fwy north. Make sure you got your memory cards so that you can run some of the car's in your garage. When we play, we normally match cars but in other cases it's a matter of how comfortable you are with your setup and tuning abilities for specific tracks.

As for myself....I gotta toot my own horn and say I posess inclined mashability so just lettin yall know.

Oh yeah...do any of yall bump or purposely crash into another driver or do you just run with finesse???

well, me and my buddy would get drift cars and practice tandom drifting. So no bumping there. Actually we would both try not to bump. Make it more...real life, like battles.
My favorite cars i remember were:
my AE86 the shinego version (as long as my opponet didnt have more than 100 to 120 more hp)
I remember the Subaru 22B STi being an awesome car.
but i cant really recall much more than that. But i had some Nice ones.

I donno.. the FD was the only car that I could truly tune 650hp and still be incredible with during grip situations. every other car sucked as soon as it reached 350+ and for drifting I just used the supra for 1k hp just using my torque to toss my *** around haha. I'm down to battle next weekend. set something up!

I'll race your FD in GT4. As long as it isnt stock. You might take me in the first half of the track, but when your 600hp digital FD is stranded on the side of the course from a blown pixel seal, i'll be zipping on by you.

yes yes keep it going. The BP falken D1GP FC was my drft car or Shigeno Ver AE86 was always cool to slide around.

But for grip im gonna have to go with the high horsepower MOTUL 350z JGTC car..just wish it didnt have that huge wing in the back. The R390-gt1 NIssan car is bomb.

So as asked earlier, when racing in a battle (grip), how do yall compete? Bumping, PIT maneuvering, side swiping or just flat out courtesy passes and mashing?

Ive just heard specualtion and slight review of GT5. Ive been told you cant modify or "upgrade" cars in the Prologue ver. But yeah, I cant wait for the offical GT5 to come out...then I can finally purchase my PS3.
