someone gets killed in process.... the only ppl that should be there are the two drivers... ppl there other then that is their fault for watching. Im not talking about street racing down a crowded street at 600pm .... i'm talkin about empty street at 11pm or 1am that is pretty damn safe unless you are a complete dumbass about driving.

I race ppl on the street but i'm smart about it. I have never gone past 6k in 4th gear... thats just stupid. but jumpin on it on the street is not as dangerous as some think. as long as you are RESPONSIBLE>

Too bad they only impounded and crushed one or two cars. They just did it as a one-time scare tactic. It definetly worked, but they need to continue it up.

SlvrRexx is the new resident West Coast Section dumbass. I feel some good bashing threads coming on in the near future. It looks like z28_SS and n0 luck is off of the hook for a little bit.

that kid is reckless. drove behind him during the hangover run, repeatedly swerved in the lanes, caused the traffic coming in the opposite direction to swerve out of his way.....

People that drive like this ^ Yes i agree take their car. especially the nice cars.... BUT IF i had my way.... I'd take cars from all the bad drivers out there and guess what ... there would probably be 100 cars left on the road. in socal. ...

I'm just sayin in this thread.... that You CAN street race and be very safe at the same time, Just because someone street races doesnt' mean they need to have their car crushed..... but then again maybe it does.

NO you are very incorrect sir. STreet racing... two car. two drivers. open road. driver in complete control... unless you hit a hole.(KNOW WHERE YOU ARE RACING..... DONT RACE IN NEIGHBORHOODS) ONly people taht should be able to get hurt are the drivers.

DRUNK DRIVING: ur drunk behind the wheel you run a red light and kill 3 girls in a car. OPPS 3 VICTIMS. STreet RACING is A VICTIMLESS CRIME

what if i am a good drunk driver? yeah sure, you can be a wreckless drunk driver, but i am different from everyone else, and can drive perfectly fine when drunk. one car, one driver.

so what are you saying, you should only get in trouble if you are racing in a residential area? that designated areas are a free-far-all?? or that certain drivers are aloud to street race, and some arent?

true, racing on the street can be harmless. but the numbers of victims killed in street-racing related accidents dont lie. it is proven that people die as a result of street racing, just like drunk driving.

I believe that the state has no right to take away my personal belongings without a trial in front of my peers. I also believe that most people who talk about being a good enough driver to safely drive drunk and or street race, are not. If you think it's ok to race someone else on a public road, you're an idiot. period.

If you really NEED to race, do it like you're supposed to. Take it to the track. I can illegally get a plasma TV by stealing or robbing from people, but that doesn't make it right. How about you race legitimately like everyone else that's paying for it?

You really think that it's a harmless practice? There are "safe" drivers out there that can't see my motorcycle when I'm riding. You're really telling me that you're looking for peds and bikers as you're trying to beat some other idiot in a game of who-can-go-in-a-straight-line-fatster? Stupid kids need to stop rationalizing the stupid **** that they do.

I can say that I safely handle firearms. That doesn't mean that I should be doing it on a public street. There's a time and place for everything. There is no right time for racing on the street.

google how many people have died from street racing plz k thnx i win

if you plan out the street race with you and the other driver, stage it out in the middle of nowhere, where absolutely NO PEOPLE are, then be my guest and drive so fast that you "blow the welds off your intake" and roll off a cliff. doing it in public places where you share the road with others is just stupid... and i really don't know where this "land of the free" bs came from, "OH SHYEAH BRAA!! LET'S GO STREET RACE AND KILL OTHERS CUZZ IT'S AMERICA AND WE'RE FREE!! LOLZ!"

If you really understood what I'm saying, you wouldn't be street racing regardless of where the nearest track is.

If you think that the residents near el toro would EVER let anyone put a race track there, you're dreaming. How would you like to live right next door to a race track? You might not be old enough to care about property values, but your parents would just be losing a buttload of money. Thinking that you they should build a race track close to you even though it really hurts the people that live around it is a very selfish notion. Street racing because YOU think that you're a safe enough driver is even more selfish.

If the world was made just for you, you wouldn't even need a track. That's definately not the case. If you act like it is (i.e. street racing), you WILL hurt someone else sooner or later. At the very least, all the "great" new initiatives they put in place to stop the racing is going to hurt us with higher taxes and more frivolous tickets. As it is, I can't have my car look a certain way because I'll LOOK like a street racer. Total BS because of a bunch of stupid kids and stupid law-makers.

hey, if you can drink a beer while drag racing then go ahead and do both. It takes real talent to guzzle and shift!
