Ok guys and girls. As most know, Puente Hills Mazda had a change in management where the new General Manager doesn’t see the merits of sponsoring this monthly meet.

So to end the year what we’ll do have the December meet one week earlier (so not so close to Christmas) and return to the SevenStock 3 roots at Frank Bonelli Park in San Dimas for this year ender. http://www.bonellipark.org/

So here’s the plan for December:

Meet Time: 9AM to 11AM.

GMR: Depart to join up with the ScCalVQ folks for the cruise right after 11AM.

Where: Sailboat Cove of Frank Bonelli Park (see map)

Directions: Take the 57 Freeway North past the 10 Freeway. Take the Vie Verde off ramp and turn left at the intersection. After a short distance turn left at Lakeside Road otherwise known as Raging Waters Drive. Turn left. Then make another left following the signs to Raging Waters. When you get to a 15 MPH sign, turn right but bear left into the parking lot. Parking is free, and this lot is little used so should be plenty of capacity everyone

 

Second Saturday would be December 14th.

Hey what u think about inviting the other mazda guys? They were just qarming up to the meet before it had to stop.

 

Dropped in to the West forum for the first time last night. San Dimas is a trek from Ventura but it sounds like a good time. And a chance to put faces with usernames I've been seeing. Will try to get there with vert2 and do my part to raise the average age!

 

This sounds like fun! I'm a maybe if I can get my car smogged this upcoming week.

 

88Vertrudy told me the other Mazda guys have been invited. I didn't make the last Puente Hills meet, so I'm glad this one is going on next Saturday.

I did a practice GMR last night. Doing it tomorrow with a bunch of cars tomorrow, I can't wait.

A decent turn out for the cruise, but not that many RX7's. Cruise was fun, but one of the Mazda 3 guys had an under steer misjudgement and ended up side down on a cliff. The good news he walked away with only minor injuries.
