Crush your car law

Not sure if this is a repost but saw this on the news...it shows a camaro as the first car being crushed and they said there is 6 other cars waiting to see if it will be crushed...

Guess they are really cracking down on street racing...never thought this law would go through..

This happened a few years ago. As far as I know, that camaro is the only car that has been crushed. It was basically a scare tactic that worked since the kiddies are still talking about it to this day. Plus the libs can't stop whining about it. They will chime in as soon as they can.

Haha.

It is too bad that you do not get it fufu. The Government having the ability to take away your personal property, for the most part unchecked, is a scary thought.

I DO get it, though. It's really not all that complicated.

Street racing is for retards. Plain and simple.

EDIT: lol, I though were you calling me fu-fu.

You are 100% correct, street racing if for fucken retards!!!! You are an idiot if you do it, and should not be driving, nor should you be licensed. However, taking away someone's personal property is not an acceptable solution.

And, as you have figured out, I was not calling you fufu, NOOB!!!!

Damn, you sure did show up fast. Too predictable.

So if I buy a rocket-launcher, the government shouldn't be able to take it away? It would be my personal property at that point.

Show me where in the U.S. you can buy a Rocket Launcher legally, pay taxes to the government, register it under your name, and THEN take it back and call it your own and that might hold true. The fact is that you bought a car legally, paying tax to the government, and without a proper trial being held, your car was destroyed. The reason why it's still being talked about is because it's so obviously a violation of the Constitutional rights of the citizens of this country. Was Scott Petersen's home demolished before he was on trial? Did we burn OJ's house to the ground after he was arrested? I mean, for ****'s sake, I know you don't like street racing, but that doesn't give you the right to violate one of the fundamental rights given to U.S. citizens by the most sacred document in the country.

Fu, you should know better than to post something like this. It is a false analogy, and has nothing to do with what we are talking about. Now, I agree wholeheartedly that street racing is a foolish thing to do. I do believe that something should be done. However, I am sick of watching our Government come up with these lame *** solutions to the problems that plague us. The real issue to me is what Snub mentions below. Also, what bothers me is that people cannot see that their rights being taken away from them, right under their noses. It like a bunch of lemmings walking off a cliff.

Forget about crushing cars, the liberals want to take away your home.

http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor...izing_property

“Liberal, activist judges will continue to violate the rights of individuals in favor of big government and special interests,” continued Keene. “To help protect property rights, Americans must push for a fair, originalist judge to be appointed to the Supreme Court when the next vacancy arises.”

Yep, the actions of one judge obviously speak for anyone that has been classified as a "liberal".

Snub is right, this has nothing to do with a goofy label. And trust me they are goofy. You are noting more than one of those lemmings I mentioned in an earlier post. I bet you heard some idiot puppet head on Fox use that phrase, and thought to yourself, 'man I can't wait till I have a chance to use that on an internet forum, I'm so rad'.

Take your goofy labels, and go away. Come back when you have learned to think for yourself.

I see it like this:

The liberals want to take away my guns. Even though I bought them legally and have them registered under my name. The only way they're taking away my guns is by prying them from my cold, dead hands.

The same goes for my car. You can take away my driving privileges, but the car is mine to do with as I please. If they tried to take my car away, I'll fight that tooth and nail.

This is not a liberal/conservative issue, but it really is an issue of power of our government. The whole reason for checks and balances, right to bear arms, etc is to be able to keep government power in the hands of the people. Taking away our property without a trial seems like we're giving up our power.
