Could anyone from sacramento help me with my boost problem
Im having a problem with my car not getting any primary boost. Ive tried to fix it myself, but since I have no idea what the problem is I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to come help me. I have a 93 r1. Thanks everyone.

don't trust mazda to warranty their own work?
i will probably be down at the dori ***** bbq on sunday if you can swing by i could probably take a look at it real quick but no guarantees if i can fix the problem, it is probably a vacuum line mixed up. it is easy to get the vacuum lines mixed up while doing a rebuild.

hmm, maybe/maybe not. my brother called and is coming up here tomorrow so i may be busy on sunday but we will see.
if anything, you could bring me the car and i can trace out the vacuum sources and see if that is the problem. might take a few days to check everything over thoroughly.

Its cool man, I got a cool diagram with all the hoses in color and really easy to read so I think im just going to use that to help me locate the broken hoses. Might be an actuator problem but its probably a hose. Ill let you guys know when I get it fixed.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Im taking it to the mazda dealer so they can figure it out. They put the new motor in so they can do their own repair work. Probably just a loose vac line or bad check valve but I dont want to have to take apart half the motor to try and find it.

Its not fixed yet.. I told him (the mechanic) to go over any vaccuum lines and anything that had to do with the turbo. He said it felt fine to him when he drove it but I know what it is supposed to feel like. So I am going to take it back there and have him take off the turbos to check them for cracks in the housing and a little bit more of an extensive investigation. Other than that I am stuck driving my car with a boost leak till monday =( luckily I dont have to drive that much and I am going camping this weekend.

edit: no my car was fine when I picked it up from having the engine put in... the mechanic knows a lot about rx7s, just not what it is supposed to feel like to someone who drives it everyday like meh.
