Compression results from Rick's
Got a test done on an FD I'm interested in buying...has a reman with ~25k miles on it
Numbers came back somewhat strange...i think:
Tested compression on warm engine.
Front Rotor: 9.3, 9.4, 9.4 @ 248 RPM
Rear Rotor: 9.1, 9.2, 9.4 @ 241 RPM
These are very good numbers.
^written on invoice..
Now as i understand it, I thought 8.5 was the factory max setting? Why is this one getting into the 9's?
Any insights are appreciated, thanks!

two things: a) they're pulling your leg, the compression reading is wrong. b) the reading is correct and they used a 9.7 high compression rotors on them. One way to find out, disassemble the engine and inspect the rotors.
