Compression check in SF Bay Area
I realize I can do a poor man's test myself, but I'd like to get an accurate indication of my engine's health to decide what to do with the engine.
I guess a Mazda dealer will do this but I'd rather avoid them. Any ideas about other options (if any) and cost.

Thanks for the reply. I just did a test myself with a standard compression tester and got 110/115 psi front/rear so I think the engine is healthy. I'll keep you in mind for a more formal test if I decide to sell the engine.
