This may be a waste of time but I'm gonna see what I can save from this poor motor...

Well turns out neither rotor is any good. The rear rotor was a solid block of rust but even the front rotor is pitted. I got all the seals and springs out except for one apex seal. The side-seals are impossible though. I doubt I'll use any of these seals either, but it was good practice.

Next up, Rotor Housings!

okay so i took my car over the rick's got the crappy idle fixed and found a whole bunch of worn bushings and a bad clutch switch. He also said my turbos were boosting too slow that I'm suppose to be at full boost by 2500rpm??? is this true?

FDs turbos seem to always wear out fast. Good time to upgrade to 99 specs

^ You know for the money you can do better. But I guess they are a good stock alternative.

it wasn't that expensive...only cost me $65+plus a $250 bonez hf cat, i'm okay with the boost though, I rather it doesn't come on at 2500rpm

Yeah, BNR Stage 3s are $400-$500 less than new 99s, or they could just get stock remans from BNR for $1K w/core

That was from BNRs website, might be able to find 99s cheaper somewhere else.

2k is when the first spools up to 10psi. At 2500 your second kicks in and both should be running at 8psi. And by 4k they both should be running at 10psi.

I wish I did But FC don't really have much of a "upgrade" that looks stock. The FC bnr's fail. My stage 3 was laggy, didn't spool very fast and just didn't have the kick I was looking for. My Holset is a kick in the pants

That is true. I think the only thing I am gonna try and get away with is putting the NA-exhaust manifold heat-shield over my headers lol. Anyone do that? I just had that idea... *pats myself on the back*
