Car Transport

Does anyone have any recommendation of a car transportation service? Im trying to pick up a FD up in Norcal but i dont have the experience of towing or even have a truck to try to tow it down to Socal. So i was wondering if someone can recommend a car transporter. thanks!

It might be a hit and miss thing. I would ask the company about damages.

I've used Magic carpet towing across the country before on several occasions. Cheap and reliable, they call for updates and let you know when, where, how, etc. Outside of that, AAA if it's local.

Just bear in mind the further you go, the more it is. my RX7 cost me $930 from Ohio to Northern California. A distance of 2300 miles. Fuel was about $2.00 a gallon then so it might be more. Also, when it's delivered, it'll probably be on the back of a semi-car carrier so try to have them deliver in an open area with a larger sized parking lot...

Or buy a cheap ticket have the seller meet you at the airport and drive it back down the most you will spend is two tanks. And a one way flight

try www.dasautoshippers.com
kind of pricey, but they get the job done.

another place to check is http://www.carnections.com/. I used them a lot back when i used to ship cars across the country. they're a brokerage, so they can find a driver for you & get it done for a bit cheaper & they have door-to-door services.
