Can some identify what this is?

So I recently bought my first FD. Of course the first thing I did was to wash the car. While I washing the car I notice this thing on the rear windshield... Can someone tell what this is.

But my FD has an antenna on the rear panel... so is that for an aftermarket antenna?

its for HD tv

these cars came out in the 90s, cell phones were even more crappier than the ones now, they needed aux antennas to get better signal.....

Definitely aftermarket and used for a cell phone, tv, or possibly the stock radio if your stock antena doesnt work anymore. I've seen a lot of cars from the 90's with similar antennas installed on the glass. You can take it off easily. They're usually on there with double sided tape from both sides of the glass. You wont have any holes in the glass either.
