Calling RX7s for Chase Scene PHOENIX, AZ
This is short notice but I'm putting together a chase sequence for a short action film. Is there anyone with a 3rd gen in the Phoenix area interested in chasing an MR2 around some corners. This is guerilla style... so the driver will have to assume responsibility for his own vehicle. We're trying to make this as safe and quick as possible without breaking too many laws. The film will be entered into the Santan Film Festival and the driver/s will appear in the credits and have a killer action sequence of them in their RX7.
What we're looking for:
Location: North Central Phoenix, AZ
2 3rd gen's... hopefully black or silver but we'll take what we can get.
A few hours of your time on Monday 28th or Tuesday 29th.
If you're interested contact: 7production@gmail.com

I would suggest ANYONE considering putting your vehicle up for scenes in films/movies (professional or amateur) to consider fees such as time, gas, mileage, etc.
And more importantly, to have these fees paid to be written in contract form.
Note how the verbage above states it is the owner's responsibility of their own vehicle. It is obvious this is an amateur production. And if the cops pull the owner over for "stunts" related to racing, and wreckless driving...what happens then? There is a reason why cities issue film permits. They may cost a bit, but there is a reason for it.
I've been in a student film or two. Got screwed of film copy and credit.
Just a word of advice to those who are willing to do this...

One of my friends had his daily driven ScoutII blown up by a film crew. Not blown up like blown motor, but rather as in loaded with explosives and blown up. I'm sure this guy isn't going to do that (especially with you in the car), but it does drive home the importance of making sure that you know exactly what you're getting into.
