Calling out all savvy STOCK traders!
which trading source (middle man) do you guys use and can you please tell me why do you recommend it? what are its pitfalls, as well as pros?
i've narrowed it down to Scottrade since '7 dolla make you holla'
and
Marsco.com. i haven't heard much about this trading source, but their comission per trade is only $5. this is the lowest out there. or are there any lower than Marsco?
all info would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I use etrade.com, started with them ages ago and they have kept up with new features and such. a bit hefty fees though compare to others.

try c-trade
they usually require a "crash" course but I'm sure that they can waive it since you have lots of experience.

No it's not Turbo'd
Etrade here too.. they do get expensive, especially if you have less than $10K with them, they charge you maintenance fees...
Other than that they have the best money market accounts %4.8 I think is what I'm getting.. and some cool IRA's 401K Rollovers etc... not to mention descent housing loans...

tdameritrade and scottstrade are great. It really depends on what your trying to accomplish. If your more into day trading, I'll go withs scottstrade. If you plan on "sitting" on a certain stock or fund, I like the service at tdameritrade. They really treat me great (of course it depends how much you have with them )

yeah, i'm really leaning over scottrade to do my trading. it'll be 'somewhat' close to day trading. i'm just trying to gauge what brokerage middle-man you guys would use.

Scottrade for me. I have used for a couple of years and have had no issues. The site is also very easy to use and navigate. Great research on stocks and $7 a trade you can't beat.

hah im suprised you took my sarcastic post seriously, but since you did, i'll reply seriously.
its actually very good, and it's very convenient, it was my father who actually got me into fidelity and i trust him because he's been in the game about twice as long as i've been alive and he makes the majority of his income based off of various forms of investment, real estate, bonds, stocks, etc. but to tell you the truth stop looking for freaking cheap *** transaction fees, user friendliness and service are more important. and to be honest you need money to make money in the stocks game, putting a few grand here and there won't get you ****. there's smarter routes to make long term money than investing it in stocks when you're in your early 20's

a while ago, a dood bought an fd with full 3" exhaust. his dad made him swap it out for stock exhaust (that i happened to have) straight across.
