a T56 should be able to handle most anything you throw at it. Hundreds(possibly thousands
), of T56's are mated behind 450+rwhp enginesYou can learn ALL about the T56 in this section http://ls1tech.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=14

Dont try to wiesel out of this, ill open the thread again when I run. Im down on my luck and because your a puss, you have to win by default? You are such a chick sometimes, just deal with my situation and accept that winning be default is the lame way to go out.
My car has more whp, more torque and a better driver, Im not too concerned over your 12.4 run. Ill give you props, its a good run but dont get to cocky.

A few observations
1, "Dana and I both call bullshit on this time. You may have had plenty of witnesses see you run a 12.4"
Comment: Now THAT is an Oxymoron observation. You don't believe something, yet you acknowledge witnesses that know it to be true. I guess that's also semantics?
2. To play the semantics card in the face of something anyone can see and read for themselves? Amazing.
3. As to your Wankle reliability comment "but id definatley (definitely?) argue that of a turbo'd rotary.", how do you explain my 87TII that had 200,000+ miles on the original engine and still running strong without issues when I got it? It has much more to do with how well any engine is being maintained and far less about the engine itself.
4. I'm one of those witnesses that know the 12.4 time to be true. To call race gas sure sounds like self serving sour grapes to me. What next, Robert's time isn't valid because he must have been aided by a tail wind?
5. By the way, he also ran a 12.8 with the parking brake fully engaged for the entire run. He ran a total of 4 runs that day.

Yup, can see the 12.436 pretty darn clearly at the end of the video. And no sign of a tail wind, or any wind for that matter.
A good run.
A good run.
Whatever it was it had slicks and either blew up or hurt the motor(egt levels were cooking cylinder wall lubrication thus making it smoke like a train , or roasted the turbo ) all just to try to keep up with the FC.
