Smile California People

Hey Guys,

Hoping to find some help in the Western forum !!
Im coming to California in 3 weeks, and want to know
where the best beaches you guys have are.

I have looked at maps and seen all the names, but have no idea
which are the popular spots.

Which good ones are anywhere between San Francisco and San Diego.
Guessing there is not as much in the mid-north area ??????? But really don't know.

Looking for a party beach with lots of nightlife, bars, possibly hotels nearby,
nice looking girls, and all-around place just to meet lots of people and do some
partying.

Thanks.

You're going to have to look for a beach down south. Santa Barbara would be a cool place, Anywhere around there basically. San Diego you know will have a good night life and ****. I live up North so, the closest beaches are cold! See if anyone from down south will reply.

Santa Monica Pier is the usual trendy place for tourists to check out. Lotsa everything that you would like to check out. South of their is Venice, another touristy hotspot. You could also check out Newport Beach down in the OC. Very rich area, but lotsa hot, rich females! Basically, just roll down PCH from San Francisco to San Diego. You see many great beaches along the way.

Is long beach in Los Angeles ??? What about huntington and surf city.

We are planning to drive down, so we also talked about stopping in santa barbara for a day or two. It sounds pretty nice there.

If you just want drinking and partying beach side, Capitola is a good place to get your drink on. It's just south of Santa Cruz. The beach aint bad either.

Long Beach is in LA County, but it's like a hour or so S/SW of there. You could use Mapquest to see how to get there. Huntington Beach is further south, in the OC. I think it's about 30 mins away or so.

Santa Barbara is a very nice place, but it's really only for either old, rich white people or for college students.

the drive time, thru the coast, will take you at least 7 hours. Be sure to stop by at Solvang; appx half hour before Sta Barbara. The fake Danish capital of CA. Then take the mountain route to Sta Barbara instead of the 101. Guess what, you will find an indian tribe there.

Thanks Guys, appreciating the tips.
The more input the better !!!!!

We will also be in San Francisco for 2 days first before driving to L.A.

So probably will look for some good bars in that area too.

Is Los Angeles Nightlife in one main area, or spread around all over the place.

It is vast and plentiful! There's stuff to do everywhere. Santa Monica, Downtown LA, Hollywood, Pasadena, Anaheim, etc. Name the location you're headed to and there'll definitely be someone who could tell you whats happening in that area.

If you're looking for a bar, I would suggest anything with an Irish name or Irish following. You can't go wrong with a culture based on inebriation!
