Does that mean you can take out your cat legally or would you still need one just in case a cop pulled you over?

well i guess you wouldn't need it. say they do put that law into work, im driving, blah blah, then a dick cop sends me to a ref and my car is from 1993 (say 18 years from 93 have passed) i dont think they'd be able to do anything if my car didn't pass smog. well i hope it goes into play.

I'm pretty sure that not too long ago they actually set it to cars 1974 and older will not have to smogged and the rolling exemption has stopped so any car made after 1974 is SOL.

I think the law is BS. I dont see a point in restricting the hours a teenager can drive. I think some of the safest times to be driving a car as far as traffic are between 11pm and 5am (except for of course the 2am drunk runs). I would possibly support a law restricting certain cars from teenagers for a certain amount of time. A few months ago two dumbshit 17 year old kids wraped a ferrari around a telephone pole right next to my house and got killed. I cant believe some of the 1st cars some of the kids around my house get.

that law (prior to jan 1) has been only enforced to minors, not teenagers in general.
