I'm laughing and crying. This whole thread is sad. Well, at least half of it.

But I can't help but notice how defensive we got when Karack raised his hand to make a point. Why so defensive?

 

timing will affect the idle but only if the car is totally out of whack will it cause the idle to be high and in no way will it cause it to be bouncy, that would be a combination of TPS and various other sensors.

 

basically i came on since no one really knows of him. i don't mind people trying to make a living but fly by night techs are nothing to take lightly, promises of cheap repairs can turn into nightmares for those of us who work for our customers, i am as cheap as i can afford to be so when someone comes on and sais that i am expensive well all i can do is shrug it off and hope someone doesn't get burned. i feel bad having to fix repairs after someone screwed over a customer but i shouldn't be made the one to suffer nor should the customer who got screwed.

that is why i speak my mind and most people realize this as well, something that sounds too good to be true usually is just that.
