it's all bullshit to buy newer cars to promote the car industry.

truth is they produce more cars than america needs and it is a LARGE industry. but basically forcing people to buy new cars by making older ones less desirable is a load of ****. these paper pushers forget that not everyone can go and spend $10k on a newer car.

the car making industry got too fat and it needs to scale back because people are trying to drive less now than in the past. trying to keep the industry large is like trying to buy a ticket to ride the fail boat. it's just sad that so many higher ups can be so stupid AND run this country.

what they should be promoting is more incentive like tax deductions on buying more fuel efficient cars instead of the massive monsters that dominate the roads. but car lots don't want to sell those dinky, cheap, small cars when they can make twice as much by trying to sell you the monster 4X4 suburban that seats 8 when you only have 1 kid.

if you want to make a difference it starts with the people, not the people who make the laws.

thats odd, I thought you also have to have an address.

there are certain counties in California that require no smog checks....but an address is needed =(

You probably need an address of some type in Oregon, to get an Oregon driver's license, I'd think...

Those areas are where population isn't as big. They only need to smog there car only if your going to sell the car.

This is the year my car WOULD have become smog exempt, had it not been for that autistic Austrian in the Gohvehnahr's chair allowing his bony skeletal noveau-riche wife to lead him about by his steroid-withered manhandle.

Not that I'm bitter or anything... as I spend every minute of spare time for the last couple weeks trying to ensure that my car will pass a test that I have to take blind, with no way to know beforehand if it's 'clean enough.'

No... not bitter...

Guys, I have question about FD. The FD is a car that is more than 15 years.. If I bought FD in California, is there any problem for the car because I heard that every car can only be driven in 10 years time. Anybody know about the problem because FD is a quite an old car?
