Wondering if anyone is down with going out to Buttonwillow Raceway for a little session on a real track with the fellow rotary enthusiasts.

the price to get an exclusive day on the track with (i'm assumeing, as many people as WE want) is $3,900/day.

SO i've done the calculations and with 12 people going it'll be 325/each. I'm sure that if we get enough people the price should be pretty reasonable.

If no one's in i'm renting it out to myself and running the whole day.

 

instead of blowing 4k on a day at the race track, give it to me and ill let you drive around my driveway.

if a lot of people do it, i can afford 30 bucks lol. so if it gets down to like 40 count me in.

 

im pretty sure your driveway is pretty small considering you can only afford a 30 dollar track day. So i'm not doing any of that (giving money to you) but anyone thats really serious and not just commenting to get their post # up let me know.

 

april 28th and 29th there is a redline track event. ill be there the 28th.

btw: does the track rental include ambulance and the people out on the track with the flags?

Nice.......Button Willow is a roadrace track, although a fast track, I like Streets much more because it is more technical, it is a autocross track, and it is much closer to SoCal. I will be out there at the Redline event representing 213.

That Buttonwillow idea is a good one though...Are you sure the 3900 covers everything we'll need? Some people working the corners would be nice...preferrably with fire extinguishers. Last time I was at B.W. there were little grassfires everytime someone went off.

 

i will volunteer just to help. i wont race or use the track.

im awesome at putting out fires. and waving yellow flags.

Redline March 12th is a definite yes, dunno about the exclusive Buttonwillow event.
