Brakes in a FD

I took my car to a Brake shop today, and they checked all the brakes, told me that they had new pads on them and the e-brake is catching the rears. My Question is, when i'm on a hill, pull the e-brake up, MY FD still rolls down. When i'm backing down out on a drive way (also slope) i have my foot on the brake, and it feels like it "pops" and slowly rolls down. Does anyone have any similar experiences? ANy recommended BRAKE shop you guys have for FD's?

I had that same problem, but my pads were pretty worn. Brenda's sold now, so no worries for me.

the guy told me the brake pads are practically new, and that because they are disc brakes the rears does not need to be adjusted.

Maybe your rear pads are so low your ebrake clamping tension is not very tight. New pads should fix this.

At least you don't live in frisco, or if you do, you're screwed. Your car's probably rolling down the street as I type this.

Also check yoru ebrake tension. Maybe it needs to be tighter if the pads are new.

hrm.. okay.. e-brake tension yeah i should definitely check that... but when i'm braking normally, it feels like i need to step on the brake more so than my protege for some reason... but then i do have slotted/crossdrilled rotors...

i think it's the ABS everytime i back outta my drive way (which is like at a 40% grade) i feel the abs kick in when i'm just light-medium braking when i'm backing out... it'll first slow slow, then POP and roll down some more... i don't know.. this is odd to me.
