Body shop reccomendations?
Body shop reccomendations?
Well i was thinking i could go to the exterior forum but since i have a FD id want fellow FD's to give me some advice and recommendations. About a week ago i got rear ended here in so cal. I would classify it as minor but i haven't seen what happened behind the bumper but at worse its probably minor frame damage. Now i looking for some top notch body work done. Money is not a factor since the other guys insurance is going to handle it. But i want my car to be as it was or as close as humanly possible especially in chassis integrity for auto x/track sense.
So what are your recommendations as far as actions i should take, things to make sure that are done to repair the chassis, and other quality objectives to make sure the job is done right? Also out of curiousity since i am getting a bumper replacement should the shop reguardless how good they are can't match the paint well to the car would that be grounds in getting the car repainted. Because it is 10+ old paint. The bumper faded along with the car uniformly and i think it would be unfair to not have a matching bumper. I just want everything back to the same level as it was before since it was a pretty clean car when i bought it. So if you guys have any advice for some So Cal bodyshops thanks!!

I won't recommend going to an elite repair shop, if you worry about your budget.
