I've an FD. Tried to stay stock for as long as possible b/c I'm convinced the high engine failure rate is due to tuners tuning w/o doing large sample, long term reliability studies.

That said, my motor finally went. I got a wicked deal on a streetported one. It's running rich at idle and am afraid of carbon buildup. Gonna go PFC. Who's the most reputable tuner in the SF/Bay Area? Rick's?
