.40 subcompact Glock. Mind if I ask what you carry? Do you ever encounter any inconveniences while carrying such as having to remember to leave it at home when going to sports arenas, theme parks, and public college campuses?

I am a private citizen. I've looked into it and I think I have a chance of obtaining one here in San Bernardino county given my "good cause."

i'm sure if you had a carputer you could somehow have it in sleep mode and have it wake up when you use the reader to logon and activate the car, or call them and see if they have anything that operates an analog output.

i'm actually surprised that some of the car manufacturers haven't attempted using something like it yet.

Get a Steering Quick Release. That will work too. Also buy a alarm with a pager. I have a buddy who goes to CalState LA when we want him we kick the tires on his RX7, 5 minutes later his running down to check his car. LOL!!!

coming from experience, get a decent alarm, something like a cliffor 50.5. its decent and has decent price. and also get a proxy and tilt sensor. unhook driver side keyhole (dont do passngerside or u **** yourself if your batter dies). go to your local pd, ask them for a sticker and stick it on your window.

btw, qucik release, kill switch, clubs, clutch locks, theyre all useless. best way to precent theft is to scare of the thief before he even gets close. ie; sensitive proxi and police sticker

I made this:

(in this pic, the case is being held together by tape because i was opening and closing it a lot)

This is a Proto-type and I will be making the Black Box smaller.

But its basically a kill switch. When i push the button on the box It will disable "X Circuit" (fuel pump, ignition, etc...) and a Flashing LED will let me know the car is disabled.

and the white sensor is a magnetic reed switch. I can hide it under the carpet or in a secret spot where it is invisible. To activate the "X circuit" i wave a magnet over the reed switch and it allows power to go to the Circuit. IE it allows the fuel pump to turn on.

Easy Hook up. One 12v wire(pink). One Ground(Black). and the "X circuit" or signal wire gets split between the other two (green) wires.

So its a basic kill switch, but it can be hidden a lot better than a normal toggle switch. Since it can be hidden underneath the carpet, its pretty much invisible.

Is there a market for a product like this?

That sounds awesome! using PD stickers! that should scare all the dumb *** thieves.

Just wondering though what kind of sticker would you ask for? and where should we put it? Cuz i imagine everyone would want to avoid putting a weak sauce paper foil sticker on the outside over the paint, so the question is where on the inside of a window?
