BBQ recipies

I'm going to be bbq'ing for my date on Wednesday, and I'd like some ideas as to what to cook. I'm planning on making some veggies and potatoes, but as to what steak I have no idea. I'm used to burgers and dogs, but these won't do.
So basically, what is a good steak, sauce, and any spices?
Much appreciated, thanks

Go with a loin if you want to spend money, its less tough than the other cuts. Or you could go with the typical T bone steak, just make sure you have it trimmed of as much sinew as possible. The sinew is the tough memebrane around the meats. Dont over cook it, or it will get chewy, You dont want his/her mouth getting too tired for later on...

Also, Id go for a light spice rub of just salt and pepper. lathering it with sauces and junk before you cook it will just end up charring the outside. Leave the sauces as a condiment
