where do you guys get your stuff painted around here? I have a 99 spec wing I want to get matched and installed on my car, but I'd like if someone knew how to put it on exactly how the OEM 99 spec cars have them.

and also for a decent price

So, I ended up getting my headlight covers done at Michael J's body shop in San Jose.
$206 to paint both headlight covers.

When I first got them, they had forgotten to buff the clear, i guess. Because, it still had drip marks, and even an entire drip bead of clear.

They were cool about it and took them in the back to buff while I waited. They came out pretty awesome. Some very minor imperfections, but overall I'm very satisfied.

$315 later($110 for the covers, $206 for the paint), my FD has two good headlight covers. Previously one was entirely gone, and one was present, but only held on by one mount(the other 3 were broken). Now I won't feel so bad driving my beater FD around.

did they need your car to match the paint? or did you just tell them the paint code?

Panel Craft in Berkeley. That's where I take all my cars. They get it done correctly.

They wanted to match the car, but I talked them into doing it by the paint code, seeing as the paint job on my car is toast. It actually matched pretty damn well.
