Oh, and preferably FD, but I'm biased, soooooo ;D
I should also add I think it would be rad for all participants to have their first name on a index card tucked into their wiper or anywhere on the vehicle. It's always a pain in the *** to find out who's who after a meet + this'll make the event feel a bit more social, I think.

I'll be keeping the meet organized to the best of my ability. There'll be four rows of parking: FD, FC +80s cars, FB+ Classics, RX8 + later model sports cars. Exceptions to that are people who show up together and want to park together. I won't get in the way of that. I'll have several friends helping me direct traffic and keep things running smoothly.

Sweet. Quality + Quantity. Win here and win there.

I think this day will be special enough to bring the FD out. Don't see too many original white ones. Still been meaning to see the two versions of FD white side by side. Pluuuuuuus I'm really pushing for a record number of FDs to turn up. I'm reaching out far, man.

Time is 5-9 PM. I expect people to start leaving en mass after sunset.
Total number of participants is looking to be 50ish, but I wouldn't be surprised if more came.
There'll be rows setup for FC, FC, FB, and RX8. My friends will be directing traffic and helping people back up into place. There'll be 3 or 4 photographers around taking pictures.
Pre meet will be at 2:30 PM at SF Japantown on that same day. Meetup spot will be in the main plaza by the pagoda in the plaza centre. From there, we'll grab something at Mifune, Benihana or something like that. Then, the plan is to leave a little before 4 because I'm not sure how bad traffic will be and how long it'll take us to get from Japantown to Treasure Island. We'll be taking Van Ness South to get onto 101 and then 80 headed West.

There'll be more in the future. Maybe once per season. I'll announce it on FB and on this forum when I plan one.

Slight typo there. I meant 80 headed EAST, not west. lol. I'm so used to heading West that I forget about East sometimes. I'll check traffic on Gmaps this Sunday afternoon and update the premeet time accordingly so we don't get caught in traffic and show up late to our own meet.
Bring up a NorCal group? Sure. I'm on Facebook more than I'm on RX7Club, so it'd be easier to discuss it in detail through there. My name on FB is the same as it is here.

Just posting to say that the meet will still be on next Sunday the 28th.
I realized its probably gonna get real cold on the island during the times I initially posted, so the revised time will be 4-7 PM. Date and locale will remain the same.
Because the time of the meet is getting pushed forward, so too will the time of the premeet. We'll meetup at SF Japantown's underground parking lot under the mall at 2 and leave the mall by 3ish in order to guarantee we'll make it to the island on time. For those to who don't want to park in the garage or the street, there is a parking lot at the corner of Webster and Geary a couple minutes away that has free parking.

Update: There is a flea market on Treasure Island from 10-4. I reckon cleanup and clearout of the vendors and attendees will take 2 hours. So, the new official start time is 6 pm. If it weren't for that flea market, this would all go along a lot smoother. I'll be at the island at 5 keeping an eye on the parking lot. I'll update this thread when the lot starts clearing out. Total turnout including non RX may be about 60. That number is why I needed to push back the time in order to ensure that the lot is clearing out.

Thank you to everyone who came out. I had data reception issues on the island so it was hard for me to properly inform everyone we were meeting on the docks. The second gathering I organize like this will go much smoother. It'll be in Fall/Winter somewhere in South Bay or hwy 1 if it sunny out. I'll notify everyone across the local rotary groups a month ahead like I did this time. I will ensure that we have a properly sized lot and I will not change the time as much as I did for this event.

Meet turnout was excellent. A couple people didn't believe me when I told them we were still missing 10 FDs. Haha.
Here's a vid of it that my friend Neil shot:
He had to leave early to catch a concert. The meet pretty much double in size afterwards.
And this second on is from Fenton, owner of the channel Zygrene. He did a comparison vid of my car not too long ago and soon he'll be doing one of my friend's classic Z.
I was too busy meeting everyone and seeing who's who, so I had no time to take pictures or video. But now that most everyone is somewhat familiar with me and vice versa, you can bet that I'll be taking pictures during the next one. There have been some shots trickling into my Facebook feed, but not many. I'm still trying to track down the couple photographers who were there.
