I want to gain interest on those who want to meet up then cruise out to Go Karting in Burlingame? If you're interested, start a list, date/time are TBD but i want to know whose serious about doing this. It will be on a Saturday possibly this month. I'm looking for a minimum of 5-10 people interested and see if the place will do a discount for us.

 

Burlingame is close to me. I might be down.

anyone going to cars and coffee tomorrow at treasure island? at 8? we are doing a caravan from union landing , union city with couple guys at 6:30.... feel free to join! check out some pagani laferrari etc and all kind of cars,. $10 for parking

its an really early event due to parking space.

East Coast guy here. I'm going to be traveling to San Francisco this coming week and would be interested to meet some members from the area and see a west coast car meet. Please Let me know if anything is going on in the Bay Area next week

I'd love to go and bring my poor looking 7, but my tranny is stuck in reverse and I'm having trouble fixing it. Stupid bolts are on there really tight. Lol. Hopefully, I can make the next one.

Anything ever closer to Sacramento? My car has been off the road for 20 years, so I want to stay close in case something blows up.

 

I'm organizing a meet next month on Sunday August 14 from 5-9 PM on Treasure Island. It's semi private and will consist mostly of rotaries. Majority of the details and all the event pages are on Facebook, but I'll post here as well for equal opportunity. So far there are about 30 confirmed attending. There are several groups involved : Northern California Rotary Group, Barotary, NorCal RX7, The Jalopmeets community, and my own private group.

I'm shooting for a proper mix of quality and quantity. Originally I was hoping just to get all the other local FD owners together for one big group pic, but it'd be cooler to have every generation RX7 + classics and RX8 all lined up nice and pretty in the West side parking lot that faces SF.

Even though I'm posting on a public forum here, the event is semi private so there shouldn't be any hooligan activity.

If you plan on attending, please comment on what you'll be bringing so I can arrange parking for the group shot accordingly. Feel free to invite anyone with a good attitude and respect for others.

 

I don't mean to double post, but I couldn't find the option to edit my comment. Meet date has been pushed back to 8/28. Time is still 5-9 PM and location is still Treasure Island. Turnout is looking like ~30 RX so far from all gens.

 

No problem! I'll be showing up. As long as i don't have to organize, i'll be there Now the question is FD or 8....
