not to mention the rotary or nothing mentality is splitting the car owners apart. Last time when we had 5-6 rx7 out for a meet [all v8] some fd rotary owner came by to talk bunch of **** to us. Like wtf drop the attitude.

Well, I've been thinking of coming out of retirement and do a meet again. Haven't done a huge one since 1999-2000 during the days of the De Anza AutoCross in Cupertino.

Been thinking of doing a large BBQ meet somewhere along the Alameda Shoreline. BBQ, dog friendly, and lots of open parking for everyone.

Mazdaspeed, we should meet up and put our resources together to do a big one before the rainy season hits.

I agree with this 100%. Even though im a huge purest, there is a lot to respect when dropping a v8 in to an FD especially in mechanical expertise, financial backing and sheer, raw reliable power. I always saw the C5 Corvette as an american rx7 due to body style :P

We will definitely be pooling in our resources in the very near future. The last major meet i did was way back in 06 with the Rotary Extreme farewell meet and for the huge Treasure Island meet with Zach and Nader. Definitely miss doing them.

Will be at either the end of November or beginning of December. I'm leaning towards having it at Santana Row or Great Mall.

hi guys couple Facebook group decided to get together to reunite some of the 90's Japanese super cars (yes i know R35 doesn't count but we take what we can get)

anyways its an Invite only event for FD Owner... (sorry guys we want to keep it low profile and very specified car models)

if you are an FD owner please PM me for time and location, this will be a great meet with some high end build cars.

Lets unite all the bay area FD owner and beat the other cars showing up at least in numbers ^^ (think we will lose in the HP department lol, but maybewe can win in the sexy department)

here is the link for the meet and some info.

Sunday Night Mazda Meet

Date/Time: December 8th (Sunday) @ 5:00pm (Changed from 6:00pm due to day light savings)
Location:Dave and Busters (Great Mall, Milpitas)
940 Great Mall Dr, Milpitas, CA 95035
Notes: Hey everyone, Seven Stock is now over and you all had time to recover from spending money on that adventure, time to get the local Nor Cal meets back up. Lets go ahead and get some food, play some games and hang out at Dave and Busters for this meet. We'll be parking at the parking garage near Dave and Busters just in case the weather is bad. If it's clear, i'll be taking out either my blue 8 or white FD, if its crappy weather, expect to see me in my black MS6. Hope to see you all there!

Of course man, fellowo FD owner. Why not bring the Fd? If you bring the 8 just park to the sides as we are trying to get everyone with the same model to group together. I will pm you the info once I get home.

under 11k?
Nice, but if you want to keep it that way then you might as well put it in storage. You should be honest with yourself and just drive it LOL.

Lol, very true, i do only plan on putting at most 150 miles a month on it. This will be more of a rare show piece than anything else for my collection. If i wanted to do crazy things, i would just pick up another beaten up FD, lol. I'm going to be looking for a low mileage stock T2 pretty soon which will be definitely hard to find but it'll come to me like the FD did. Apparently this is 1/13 Chaste White Base Model 1995 RX-7's :P

Lol, my FD is completely stock except for the r series dual oil coolers and strut bar, also got a racing beat front sway and lowering springs. Nothing too fancy. But it does depend on the weather, this car will never see rain ever!! lol

Most likely though, i may be taking out the 8, it's been sitting in the garage for a long time and i miss driving my baby. Does need some tlc though like an engine rebuild but i did dump over 5k in parts and got to get ready to send it to florida for the rebuild.

Also, chaste white ftw

No way im going to compromise sleep to go to a meet :P I will be missing out though but hey, maybe one day we can do something similar but bring all legendary japanese cars including 3000gt's and 300zx's as well. Those were the prime japanese super cars in the 90's

I would invite them however I'm not active nor do I own the 3gt or z32. To get a good meet together you will usually need a good active community member to bring everyone together. This time it's rare because I have the event cordinator from gtr forum and Nsx club helping out to make this happen. Doubt anything like this will happen again anytime soon.

Hope you meet you next time at a local meet, I see that you are very close to me

Have a good one.
