Sadly as can be easily told, my mechanical skills are still in their abortive pre-infancy but as long as I at least could be in some way helpful to you I will gladly take you up on this offer. I'll shoot you a PM so we can co-ordinate.

No prob. Just drain all the fluids, and if possible remove the Radiator/ shroud. If not, no big. It is really easy to remove a 12a.

What about the rats nest? I imagine that being one of the major pains. Removing it probably isn't as big a pain though as putting it back on.

Yeah, that would help. As well, clean that bastard with some Gunk remover if it is dirty. Much easier to work on a clean car. I also have a pressure washer, could bring that as well.
