Bay Area - need help pulling 12A from FB

Hey I was looking to see if there was someone in the Bay Area who could help me with pulling the engine out of my FB. I wouldn't be able to pay you much but would also provide beer/soda and some nice meals from my girlfriend.

Looking to possibly do it some weekend when the weather is fair.

If anyone is interested give a reply.

Tow it to me without radiator, oil. Within 1/2 hour, you will be on your way back to Frisco

The car is complete for the most part, just kind of falling apart at the seams. The body, paint, interior, clutch cylinders, suspension, and possibly tranny are quite shot which is why I want to put the engine into a GSL instead of investing x benjamins to get it running well and then making it nice and pretty again.

Without radiator, oil, what now?

Do you have an engine hoist/lift?

I tend to claim I am a woman in rampant leghumping situations. Like the Lounge, and when I play Counter-Strike:Source and a girl is on the server.

Tell ya what Hopkins, I can help you. I have all the tools, compressor, cherry picker, fylwheel removal tool, and a truck to carry it all in. I will be happy to help you one day, in trade for your help one day. I will be putting in my engine soon, and may need some help then. Fill my bellky with beer and food, and you are good! I live in Dublin, not to far from ya. Let me know.

Awesome and thank you very much for this offer! (unless you're pulling a wackyracer on me)

Sadly as can be easily told, my mechanical skills are still in their abortive pre-infancy but as long as I at least could be in some way helpful to you I will gladly take you up on this offer. I'll shoot you a PM so we can co-ordinate.

If I am not breaking crap on my own car this weekend I might be able to help out.. though ive never pulled a 12A/FB only a couple FC and FD engines. Can't be any harder other then more stuck bolts and lots more swearing?

In any case if you don't have things taken care of already feel free to PM me and I will try and be around this weekend to help out....

Get Nader to pull the damn engine, all he needs is his dinner hat.
