Here it is, buy it.

Link to sale here.

Attempt to build it, **** something up, THEN take it to a shop and pay even more for your **** ups. Happens a lot with these so called "engine builders", that think since they have read the Haynes manual they know it all.

No need to mention any names

Save the time, the trouble and money, take it to a good shop to get done right the first time.

Better yet, just sell the car and save all those "headaches..."

One word for people who won't DIY when they have the opportunity:

Lease.

$3k is typical at the good shops and reasonable. You can cut corners on parts and get a little lower, but why screw yourself? If you want to put the money into starting over with another headache car that's an option too, depending on how bad yours is. If you want to buy one in decent shape then Blue Book (average sale price, www.kbb.com) is a good bit more than that.

You can pay now or a lot later. Or if you really get scammed you'll pay now and a lot later. But you'd have to get a crazy good deal or be a pro at engine building or have a ton of time on your hands (and still be lucky & smart enough to not screw it up) to pay hardly anything now and still be fine later.

avg cost to rebuild a rotary?

YOUR SOUL!

A new soul is needed for each rebuild. Sucks, cuz they are expensive...
