Thumbs up Avatar!!!

yo yo yo,,,

This movie is gonna be good, not to mention is the 1st depth perception recorded movie in history; (just means that the camera that was used looks like a it has to lens like a human to give a more realistic feel)

we should get a group together and watch it. any ideas?

You mean Depth of Field? Do you mean its the first CGI movie to use this technique? I'm lost.

Edit: so I just looked it up and I guess it's shot the same why as 3D, but with both cameras angled at the same point (like human eyes) rather than at 2 points like traditional 3D.

Sounds interesting but I don't know how much of a difference it will make unless you actually take the time to inspect the blurry background the foreground characters are on.

No. It's just shot with similar techniques as a 3D movie. Though, again, the movie is 95% CG... idk how much "shooting" they can amaze us with.
