Looking for Pacific Avatar RX-7 Owners/Experts

Well, as you can guess by the signature, I'm an FC guy. I'm kicking around ideas for my next RX Tuner story and was intrigued by doing one on the Pacific Avatar 1st gen RX-7 convertible.

I'm looking for a current owner that could possibly provide photos and their knowledge, as well as any former owners who have a wealth of information to share.

I've already found this link - http://www.winisp.net/gsl-se/convertibles.htm and it was pretty helpful for a baseline. Obviously there's only going to be so much info about such a rare car, but anything else any of you can provide would be helpful.

Jerry,
Contact Jim over at Mariah. They sorted out the RX-7 Club of America Ultima Convertible... back in the day, and he has some good insight into the Pacific stuff.

hi guys, I saw this thread and wanted to add to it. I've been a big fan of the 12a convertible and the pacific avatar cars. I have started collecting a bunch of stuff on them.

I just bought the Pacific Avatar ultima convertible and am organizing myself as I start to restore it. I have been talking to Zack in Northern california about his PA car (BOOSTEDREX) and I will post a new thread with pics as soon as time allows.

Any info on the PA cars is greatly appreciated, cliff

yeah,

I knew that, but this thread keeps turning up when I search for PA stuff, so I figure it is haunting other people as well
