Hey guys my name is Brad and my wife is Shar and we are coming over to USA last 2 weeks of April and first 2 weeks of May 2011
We are both mad rotar fans and have a full D1 spec rx7 FC and are hoping to come over and see any drifting, racing, cruises or shows at all and wondering if anyone can tell us of any sites or shows that will be on around that time.
We will be in Vegas and LA but we are happy to travell to get to anything possible.

welcome to the states mate... just keep a look out for meets in the LA area on your date of arrival. Socal has like 90% of all rx7s but only 10% are running

 

Formula drift hasn't announced there 2011 schedule yet but i'm pretty sure Round 1 of Formula Drift is in early April in Long Beach which isn't to far from LA. Should check it out if you want to see some drifting near the beach.

 

Los Angeles RX Club's meets are typically the first Saturday of each month, and were located in Torrance, I don't know where they have them anymore, I'd have to look, maybe someone can pipe up... It's been a while since my car has been road worthy, and I had time to gallivant around L.A. on a Saturday with nothing better to do

Theres a thread here in the West section regarding Adams Motorsport Park (http://www.adamsmotorsportspark.com/) who hosts drifting every Thursday night. Its a small go kart track but people do really well on it. Everyone from amateurs to D1 pros come out so you may want to check it out. Its in Riverside, about 45 minutes east of Los Angeles.
