My friend was driving above the speed limit in the street (50 in a 35), and the guy next to him crashed his car, and later on the guy said that they were racing and my friend is now in trouble. Also, my friend's car didn't have registration or insurance at the time... What can my friend do?

nor cal is alot less **** about modified cars at least were i live (in between sac and san fran) every time ive been pulled over a cop has never even said anything about my exaust (hks hi power) and one time before i replaced my turbos my car was burning alot of oil and the cop told me that he could smell it and i even told him that my turbos were leaking alittle oil and he didnt really say anything (he doesnt know that the car stock has twins so you would think he'd ask to take a look but nope)

but my question was purely hypothetical and i was saying what if you couldnt see the the turbo, and what if you had a m2 style intake that looks stock and what if everything was painted black to look stock and what if the bov was out of sight like under the ic piping instead of on top or on the side then if a average cop looked at it would he be able to reconize it was modified other tha the exaust...

My question, why the **** would you want to run red lights in the first place, let alone brag about how you can beat the cameras. Sounds like true ******* driving tactics.

Hey dipshit, what the **** am I supposed to do, sit at a light for 15 minutes at 4am waiting for another car to come up behind me. There is an intersection that I hit 4 times a week, with a red light camera, and the sensors do a shitty job of picking up my daily when its by itself. Guess how many cars get off the freeyway there at 4am.

Not that I give a **** what you think. Take your judgment and shove it up your ***.

Uhhh, yes. Why not report the malfunctioning signal to the city? You ever though about being helpful?

Is it legal for me to ride my motorcycle in the carpool lane during carpool hours without a passenger, or is one required? Also I'm assuming motorcycles don't have to pay parking meters? And can I park it on the crossed off lines next to disabled spots and on sidewalks etc? These are somewhat of gray areas as everything is designed for cars.

You don't need a passenger on a bike in the carpool lane.

So on Friday night me and few friend were cruising the freeway. About 10 people in 10 cars. Were all drving close to the speed limit plus or minus 5. This was in the middle of night very few other cars. We were in 3 lanes and left one open for people to pass.

CHP told us to exit the freeway. We did pulled over to a gas station showed license regis insurance. Lets us go and says don't cruise on the highway?

Didn't give any tickets so we didnt think much of it. Did we do anything wrong?

It is not illegal per the story you told me, but who knows the real story. Thats why I don't like answering these type of questions since there are so many variables since I was not there and you are not a trained cop.

Modified exhaust alone is enough for the hood pop.
Alright, so this leads to the next question: What happens when he pops my hood and sees my LS1? Will he tow my car away, or can I try to work up some type of excuse like I just got it done, breaking it in, and i'm going to legalize it and maybe he'll let me off with a warning (Hey, he might just be a Chevy guy ), or will he send me to the ref?
