So how do you guys typically handle cars with KJC or KMA-XXX license plate case OR fireman sticker.

We use the modified exhaust or some other little tic-tac violation just to get to the car window. Then we can investigate for suspended licenses, warrants, drugs, DUI's, weapon violations....

It doesn't play a role until we already make the stop in my opinion. If we come up to the car and it's not a serious offence, then that sticker might help. I just love how so many people have fireman stickers but it's their great cousin that is the actual firefighter. I am actually more discouraged by that then not having the sticker at all. Same with the CHP foundation or whatever it is.

This is regarding the front license plate.
In what situation would the police officer actually cite the violation if the car has no front plate?
And what actions should the owner take after he or she is cited if the owner purchased the car without the front plate, or the owner cannot find the front plate?
What is the significance of the front plate? Why do some states require it and some don't?

I'm asking this b/c I just got a citation recently and cannot find my plate anywhere...

ya, ive been pulled over twice. And the cops have been kind enough to let me go both times (i believe it might have something to do with my baby face and kindness). They usually pull me over for something small, burned tail light etc... then they check out if you look suspicious or if you look like ur on some illegal substance. both times they could have pinned me for numerous things. ive also noticed if your kind to the cop and you speak the truth, they return your kindness.....plus i usually drive a 1990 jeep so i dont look to suspicious.

Hmmmm... let see, maybe for redlight cameras? If you don't have one, go to the DMV and get one. I think it's like 25 bucks or something. License plate tickets are easy to give out and are usually saved for the ******** or kids that are pulled over.

That would be why I don't have a front plate on my DD. tickets for front plate are 13 dollars in san diego county. Tickets for the red light camera are in the 170's. Thats saved me at least 1k dollars in the past 2 years. My rx has a front plate, don't want to attract any more attention then I need to.

For your information, most of the updated cameras take a picture of the back too. The ones in the front are mostly there to capture the person driving the car. Dumbass.

^ I'd say it'd depend on the cops knowledge. If he's close to retarded, he won't know the difference..

I know the area I drive in, I know a few that do and a few that don't there is an intersection near my house that I hit when I go to the gym at 4 am. If I am the only car there, nothing with get it to pick me up and give me a green, So I wait till its safe and run it.

Second the san diego area has at least half dozen lights that I can think of that ONLY capture the front of a car.

your just thinking of all the money the city and state could be extracting from me that they are loosing out on.

Another thing that cops rarley know that has gotten me out of a red light ticket (I pled not guilty and won). If a light cycles 3 times and doesn't give your side a green, its legal to wait till its safe and go.

DUMBASS I have watched the camera flash on me half a dozen times, I pull my hat down so it doesn't get my face, and boom no ticket in the mail.

Honestly yes. Most cops are car guys, domestics mostly, but they still know what looks stock. I giant single turbo that you can see plainly is definetely not stock.

Why not just get BNR stage 3 twins, they are capable of 420 whp, and they pass the visual.

thanx, but lets say you cant really see the single turbo bcause you fabricate some sort of heat sheild to hide it...

well the main reason of coarse is simplicity, the sceond being is that right now i have the '99 spec twins and i defenetly dont want to convert those to bnr's cause i already paid $2300 for them then to spend another $2400 doesnt make sense, and finding a set of good twins is hard to come by, and getting the bnr's to hit 420whp is maxing there output and their longevity would decrese if you ran like that, a single can easily hit 420whp and still have plenty more if you want it...

Fuman: why do you always have ugly *** avatars?? wait. was it supposed to be a police-related question??

seriously: Is it legal to have a megaphone mounted to the car so I can yell ( without CURSING! ) at the retard drivers who almost kill me. I'm thinking of installing it under the hood by the foglight hole.

I would say the officer would give you a ticket for the modified intake (pipe with K&N style filter) you have hanging from the single turbo.
