I saw them filming one time, but from an autox on the other side of the field.

Interesting thing to note-- Solo2 people had booked that area of El Toro ahead of time before Top Gear USA came in. Top Gear wanted to buy out the entire field and push Solo2 grassroots autox, who had already reserved ahead of time and been a regular at El Toro field, OUT. This is not ok. Of course they didn't stand for it-- I was racing that day

But watching what looked like an Odyssey get all crazy from a distance was admittedly really amusing. Stepping off the soapbox now.

I'd rather watch it on TV, going to filming of stuff isn't taht great. This show especially where you have to stand the whole time.

Would City of Irvine really let them buy out the field anyways? City of Irvine spend alot of money (MY MONEY - I live in Irvine) developing the area.

i actually attended one of the top gear tv tapings at el toro--boring, and total waste of time. for any car enthusiast (or not), you'll have better things to spend your time on.

also, you have a condescending **** of an MC that blabber mouths during the taping breaks.

again, total waste of time. towards the last hour the entire crowd was itching to GTFO.
