no, he had a tow truck come up to get it--which we planned on, but the tow guy showed up too early got the car when i wasn't there. are they even allowed to do that?

I don't know. Slim jim or whatever the tow truck guys use to open locked doors. The glass wasn't broken but when I got to my car the glove box was open and so was the center console. This was on my 4 Runner....not my FD.

hey do slim jims work for like ANY car? i remember getting my keys locked in my FC... when triple A came, they didnt use a slim jim. they got my door to open just a little bit by jamming a piece of wood into my door jam and slid a firm metal hook through the top of the door and just unlocked it with the hook... (didnt mean to hijack this thread) just wondering ways fools can get into cars...

the 2nd day i had it i locked myself out
and had my buddy come over to slim jim his way in and couldn't do it, i ended up calling a lock smith out and he's actually the one who ended up telling me about it. i think alot of the newer cars are starting to do this too. even tho a simple brick will do the job
