Anyone know about DGR Suspension?
found this company called DGR High Performance Suspensions that is coming to the USA, so if you have some input on these, please do share. They're looking for FD's right now for sponsorship. Can't pass up free stuffs, right? What they want is exposure. I know I won't be this year so thought i'd pass it on.
i'd love to test it out and THEN spread the word...cuz i'd have to KNOW what i'm backing but there are those who don't mind.
i could think of a LOT of FD owners out here in the West that could get exposure on street/shows/track. if you want it, check 'em out:

They look like just another chinese or korean knock-off coilover kit. There is no address for their headquarters, but the contact number is 626, so I am guessing they are in Rowland Heights or Walnut; Knock-Off capital of the west coast if not the US. After reading the about us section, it sounds like it's 1 guy sell parts out the house.
For the money they are asking for a set, you could get a setup with better warranty and reputation/history.
Don't get me wrong, not all the stuff out of China or Korea are junk and there are a few companies with a decent following now; i.e. FF, KSport, Stance, BC Racing, etc.

You're blind, plus this posting was for a sponsorship opportunity. plus, they're open to having their shocks dyno'd. He's doing that for us on clubroadster.net. Somebody asks i'm sure he'd send over a set to Koni for testing as well.

I must agree...however the rates for an FD are nukking futs! you can get custom spring rates with dampers valved to match. I think the sponsorship opportunity for FD's might be over though...oh well, i tried to spread the good news. hit them up to make sure.
I have these on my Miata. They're awesome!
I wrote a review and it got posted to the site... www.dgrsuspension.com/testimonials.php

The rates for the FD are pretty good... if your car is leaning more for track use, and not street. FWIW, I run 12/12, but I have triple adjustable coilovers, so it feels comfortable on the street, but it's a completely different animal on the track.
**** it, i'll do it. my suspension's blown like wiz khalifa.
EDIT:
so i emailed them regarding sponsorships for kicks and there's what i got.
it was worth a shot. lol

I would like to offer you a discount at $999.99 for a coil over kit. I'm running this promo til Feb 1st.

yeah, i initially posted this for FD owners cuz that's what was listed on their site for sponsorship opportunity. I didn't apply for a full sponsorship because i knew i wouldn't get the exposure i know they'd want in car shows and such. considering that's a good 2/3 of the price, i'd go for it Kent. independent bound/rebound adjustment, rebuildable here in the states.
When I talked to DGR to get my coilovers, I asked about the sponsorship, etc. Apparently, he got ~400 emails of people wanting free stuff. If you didn't get a response, I'm sure it was by mistake. He emails very quickly and has outstanding customer service. You have to remember, he's launching a brand and that's not just "throw up a site and see what happens." He works 14 hour days, if not more. The company isn't even officially launched yet - not til Feb 1. He has a LOT going on right now. Email him again.
...and finishline, I'll agree, $999 is a good price (you didn't hear it from me, but if you're nice, he'll do better). [cough]$935 shipped[/cough]

especially getting the shocks revalved for free for more aggressive spring rates... that's pretty cool. =]
