I haven't been to a meet in awhile but don't feel like paying $60 to race at K-1. how many people will be going just to hang out?

Because not enough (only 5 of 8) wanted to pay to make sure the event was a GO. It is (was) a great value if you want to improve your driving. (See the thread again.)
Some may look at this as just wasting money for some event. I choose to see it as an investment in YOU, the driver. It is just like going to any dirver education class. Some parts only apply to racing/competition, but others apply to day to day driving and car control (awareness) on the roadway.
We are still meeting at K1Speed in Carlsbad for the month of April. Some of us will do the Arrive & Drive because even though we had to cancel the main event.
You ought to try it.
See ya at K1Speed on Saturday,
John
