Is anyone going to Mazfest 2011?

Like the heading states, is any one going to be there?

I have never been but it seems like fun. I signed up for the track day, so I'll be there.

I'll def be there, with my trusty 12x12 tent. Won't be ready for full up track, but if they have autocross I'll do that. It's fun, I like Mazfest

I went once, just for the car show; Sounds like it's a lot more fun doing the track thing, but that's not really what my car's about - - or about ready for!

Thinking on it, though. Lot of nice poeple and cars there to hang with.

Just come find us. We usually end up in the back corner somewhere due to all that wind. With the way the stages are set up there is always someone at the tent(s).

I'm hoping there are cars with some RZ seats. I want some but not sure how comfortable they are, so I'm hoping I could try them out.

i think its $80 for the autocross, and its actually $180 to run the roval, which im pretty sure its what most of us are going to run, and plus the $10 gate fee

Doing autocross only. So, do I need a transponder to be timed at the autocross? Or are they using the traditional auto-x timing lights ??

speedventures charged that too when it was just a speedventures event. i suspect it may have to do with the ownership change of the venue? its been that way at least a year?

Usually it's the Track that charges the gate fee. For instance, it's $10 to get into Buttonwillow no matter whose trackday it is.
